Hotel Merikotka is located by the old port, 400 meters from Pasaati Shopping Center and within walking distance of restaurants and the Vellamo Maritime Museum. The Maretarium Aquarium and Sapokka Park are a 15-minute walk away. Less than 3 kilometers away there is a bus station with regular services to Helsinki and Tampere. Kotka Satama Train Station, 300 meters away, provides easy access to Kouvola and Lahti.
